Today, the use of glass in vehicles is increasing, with larger glass areas and panoramic roofs becoming a trend. Glass has become the new battlefield for luxury configuration in automobiles. So, what will be the next trend in automotive glass?
At the conference, Mr. Yang Zijiang, General Manager of Astrace Group, pointed out that the next trend for automotive glass lies in the development of optoelectronic intelligence, mainly along two directions:

• From traditional to intelligent, achieving intelligent dimming and color control (3MDT);
• From functional to aesthetic, realizing transparent display aesthetics (OMTD).

From traditional to intelligent — represented by the patented 3MDT intelligent dimming film technology, evolving from traditional heat insulation, UV blocking, and high transparency to intelligent light and color control with transparent display capability.

From functional to aesthetic — represented by OMTD transparent display technology, which makes glass no longer monotonous. When turned off, it appears transparent and invisible; when turned on, it becomes vivid, dynamic, and visually stunning.
